About Our Educators

Our educators are the core of our mission to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

Held to the highest standards of excellence and integrity, all team members undergo rigorous background checks, complete First Aid training, and meet or exceed the certification requirements set by Alberta Child Services. This ensures they are fully equipped to offer exceptional care and educational experiences.

Our diverse team includes educators with varying levels of certification and advanced degrees in Child Care Studies, bringing both practical expertise and theoretical knowledge to our programs. We value diversity and actively recruit individuals with different backgrounds, cultures, and interests, believing that these varied perspectives significantly enhance the children’s developmental journey.

Many of our educators also bring unique personal experiences from working in group homes and day homes, adding depth to their ability to create a supportive and understanding environment. Others share their passions, like sports and photography, integrating these into our curriculum to promote further creativity and exploration among the children.

A Personalized Approach

At Adventures Child Care, we recognize the diverse needs of families and strive to offer the most flexible and highest-quality care options available. Our experienced staff are dedicated to creating a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment to ensure that every child feels valued, nurtured, and empowered to explore their full potential.

Our teams are led by passionate Program Supervisors at each location, guaranteeing an attentive and personalized approach to care that celebrates the individuality of every child. With a curriculum that blends academic support with opportunities for creative play, we set the foundation for a lifetime of success.

I have worked at Adventures Child Care for eleven years. My birth country is England. However, Trinidad and Tobago are where I spent my childhood years. Growing up in Trinidad was fun as we had lots of outside time and great friends to play with. Of course, I enjoy many outdoor activities like hiking, bike riding, and when indoors, I enjoy lifting weights. I also spend a lot of time with my children, Pierce and Yemaya.
